Meetings are on held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM, except in May (4th Wednesday) and July (no meeting).

The American Legion Riders, a diverse group of patriotic motorcycle enthusiasts, epitomize camaraderie and service. United by their love for country, they ride not just for thrill but to honor America's military, veterans, and youth. Through various activities, they support local communities, veterans' homes, and children's hospitals, raising substantial funds for important causes.

Since 2006, they've come together annually for the American Legion Legacy Run, generating funds for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, providing hope for the children of fallen heroes. Starting in 2024, they rally behind a new initiative, the Veterans and Children’s Foundation, offering essential support to military families and veterans in crisis. Additionally, they empower American Legion claims experts to assist veterans with disabilities and educational opportunities. With unwavering resolve, they continue to inspire hope and make a lasting impact on the lives of others.

“Riders Lead The Way”

Message From The Director

As Director of the Gold Star Post 191 Legion Riders, I’m honored to lead a dedicated group of individuals who share not only a love for riding, but a deep commitment to service, camaraderie, and community.

Our mission extends far beyond the road. For every mile we ride, we advance causes that are at the heart of the American Legion—service to veterans, their families, and our communities. We are proud to raise money and awareness for the Veterans and Children's Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides critical assistance to military families faced with unexpected challenges. We also support the Warrior Canine Connection, a nonprofit that helps veterans heal with the power of connection and purpose by training service dogs for war-wounded. Visible and invisible.

In addition to national causes, we also support local charities and town events in partnership with our American Legion Family—working together to strengthen the bonds between our post and the community we serve.

Above all, we are a family. It is the esprit de corps which unites us—riders from varied backgrounds, bound by shared values, respect for each other, and an unwavering devotion to those who have come before us.

Riding for a cause, making a difference together.
