Poppy Poster Contest Info

The Poppy box will be placed in the front hall of the Legion with the cover sheets and rules on 3/18. Poster paper will be available on a first come first serve basis.
Completed posters and cover sheets can be turned into that same Poppy box anytime before the close of business on April 7.

There is an optional contest information meeting on March 24 from 7-8pm in the big hall of the Legion.
At this meeting we will review the rules, answer questions and show examples of previous Poppy Poster winners.

All Poppy Posters and cover sheets must be submitted to the box in the front hall of the Legion by close of business on April 7 to be entered in the contest.
All entered posters will be displayed from April 8 - 20th in the American Legion front hall.
Judging will take place on Friday, April 14 at 7pm and winners will be announced that night.
All posters will be taken down on April 20 and the first place winners will be mailed to the Department Chairman to be judged at the state level.
Prizes will be distributed at a future Unit Meeting (possibly June).
